BBQ Brisket Causes Illness - Dickeys Barbeque, Michigan

We shared 3/4 lbs brisket, a small cup of baked beans, fried potatoes and 1 cornbread. We noticed the brisket looked drier than usual, but we ate all of it. We picked up the food at 4:50 pm, and started eating a bit after 5 pm at home. My husband woke up with severe abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhea at 2:30 am. He could not go to work since diarrhea continued all night and next day. I was ok until 2 pm the next day, but started to have diarrhea also. I didn’t eat as much as he did. We did contact the store and notified and they are going to give us a refund. The lady who answered the phone was nice and offered to give us free meal when we come next time. My husband is traumatized, and says that he doesn’t want to go back again. I am sad because Dickey has been our favorite bbq place and only few minutes away from our home. It could be just we were unlucky, but I just wanted to make a report. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain
