I ate a Russell Stover Sugar Free Chocolate Carmel bar around 3pm. About an hour later I started have diarrhea. It is 8pm and still going on. I cannot be more than a few feet from my toilet. How is this product still on the shelves? | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea

It's the malitol in it. Many sugar free items contain sorbitol, manitol, etc...all of which cause diarrhea. I stay away from anything that has an ingredient ending in "tol" I hope you feel better soon.
