Stuffed Crust Pizza Illness - Walmart, Fairmont West Virginia

5 years ago reported by user-gmff8821 business

Digiorgio supreme stuffed crust frozen pizza, Walmart Supercenter, 32 Tygart Valley Mall, Fairmont, WV 26554, USA

32 Tygart Valley Mall, Fairmont, 26554 West Virginia, United States

Picked up the frozen pizza a week ago from the local store it was a digiorgios supreme stuffed crust frozen pizza. Quickly returned home about 20 minutes after taking out of store freezer then placed it into my freezer. Approximately after one week of the pizza staying frozen in our freezer I preheated our oven to 400 degrees then placed the frozen pizza in for 23 minutes per manufacturers instructions then again at 350 with oven door slightly open to keep warm while getting other things arranged before eating. Approximately 90 minutes after eating only the pizza both myself and my pregnant fiancé began to develop symptoms. First stomach cramps, intense nausea then diarrhea which lasted for 2 hours for the both of us. Of note my fiancé had just returned home from a 12 hour shift and had eaten nothing since being home. I had also not eaten anything for approximately 5-6 hours prior to eating the pizza. We did both drink water the we had gotten from the sink that was put through our own water filter. I had been consuming the water throughout the day with no symptoms. Both of us developed symptoms at the exact same time. The pizza does not expire until December 2020 (8 months from now). I hope no one else gets sick and the right adjustments are made. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps
