Arrived to Melbourne on 26th January 11pm. Started to throw up on 27th January around 2am until early afternoon. Diarrhoea started as well. Frequency of vomiting decreased but still continued until 29th January. Diarrhoea continued until I see a doctor on 30th January. Complained later to Emirates about the hygiene standards and about my sickness. Sent doctor’s note and lab results for gastro-virus detection. Their response was more of a defending their food standards and more like a blaming game. IST - DXB 25th, Jan EK 124 - Economy class DXB - MEL 26th Jan EK408 - Business class As a gold member of the airline, I am very disappointed the way they responded (very generic and copy paste email drafts with different fonts). My trip for my cousin’s wedding inMelbourne was ruined. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Gas
