Double Burger Illness Strikes - Five Guys, Bridgeton Missouri

1 month ago reported by user-qrhfg999 business

Five Guys, St Charles Rock Rd, Bridgeton, MO, USA

12294 Saint Charles Rock Road, Bridgeton, 63044 Missouri, United States

On the Saturday, after Thanksgiving, I ate a half of a loaded double cheese burger and my 23 year old son ate a whole double cheese burger and my other half. Within several hours, I was throwing up, had diarrhea, hot & cold chills and became faint after stooping down to unplug my charger from the wall. Being dizzy caused me to hit the hardwood floor. These symptoms lasted until 12/2/25. I was finally able to make it to the Urgent Care where they suspected possible blood clots from hitting the floor so hard. Early Sunday morning, my 23 year old son drove 3 hours to Indiana, and experienced the same exact symptoms I did and we both did not eat until the following Thursday, 12/4/25. I left a message with Five Guys the following day and never received a call back from anybody. I just spoke with the General Manager, Becca who said she was familiar with my complaint, but that someone had thrown my phone number away. She started telling me about food poisoning at Wing-Stop next door and that she thought Five Guys Corporate Headquarters was located somewhere in Virginia but was not sure exactly where. She said that all she had to report what happened to me was an email: fiveguys.com. She was both snarky and unprofessional to say the least. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Chills
