Strawberries: Norovirus Outbreak - Food Lion, Salisbury Maryland

4 years ago reported by user-vcbx9112 business

Food Lion, Tilghman Road, Salisbury, MD, USA

232 Tilghman Road, Salisbury, 21804 Maryland, United States

9/14/21, strawberries September 13th 2021, bought strawberries from this store. A lot of the produce there was obviously rotting, with soft dark spots and fruit flies all over them. I checked out all the strawberries and found a container I thought looked okay. The next morning my 3-year-old daughter and I had them with breakfast. About 12 hours later she and I both were violently ill with vomiting and diarrhea (my fiance, who did not eat the strawberries, was fine). After a few days with no change in her symptoms we took her to the pediatrician, where a gi swab found she had norovirus. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting
