String Cheese Dirt Taste - Frigo Cheese, Happy Valley Oregon

Hello! We purchased a 24 pack of the light string cheese last Friday. (April 28th) we are now on Friday (May 5th) and we have notice that our light string cheese tastes like dirt! We have tried it 2 different times, on different days and they have both tasted like dirt, we love this brand and it is a regular in our house so we believe we have a bad batch that has something growing on it. The expiration date isn’t until June of 23’ so I’m not sure why these would taste like dirt other than we got a bad batch! I don’t see a batch number on the bag otherwise I would include that too. My family has been experiencing diarrhea for the past day and we are wondering if it is this string cheese that caused it. | Symptoms: Diarrhea

I have gotten two packs of their string cheese two different times and both of them were going rancid right when I got back from the store, the expiration date ( just like yours) is way weeks away, so I think we should stop buying the string cheese here. Once is okay, but this seems to be reoccurring. I am currently sick from eating their preseason pork that was on sale. It will be going to the dog.
