My husband, his daughters and I visited this restaurant on Sunday 7th April. We arrived at 5.45 and ate at 6.30. My husband, I had a starter, daughter did not and being in training for the London Marathon, refrained from drinking any alcohol. For her main course she ordered Linguine with Seafood. Upon finishing she said she hadn't enjoyed it much and noted that it tasted 'slimey'...Pretty quickly she started to feel unwell. We left the restaurant and decided to head straight back to our hotel as by this time daughter was feeling sick. Within 40 minutes of leaving the restaurant, she was vomiting. We got her to her room where she continued to be sick along with having diarrea throughout the night. At 8.45 the following morning my husband called the restaurant and spoke to the manager. He took details and said we would be called back. By 6pm that evening we had heard nothing so with daughter still ill, visited the restaurant. We again spoke to manager and yet again were told thart we would be contacted. Details were taken and we left. The following day daughter was still too ill to travel so we booked another night for her in the hotel. On 11th we still hadn't heard anything in response to this matter so my husband called the restaurant again, manager the was 'unable' to come to the phone, A member of staff called said a company called 'Sheild' dealt with such issues and it was their fault, not the restaurants, that no one had been in contact...She promised that we would hear by 17th. On 17th staff called and said it would be another 2 days before Sheild would be in touch but assured us the matter was being taken seriously. To date (24th) we have heard nothing, either from the restaurant or from Sheild. On 19th I emailed his PR company KIN Partners listing all the information above. I asked them to call or email me as a matter of urgency. Yet again, we have been ignored. I wouldn't usually write such a damming review of a company but taking into account that all the facts point towards food poisoning, daughter walked into the restaurant in peak fitness and without any symptoms of illness whatsoever and within 40 minutes was being violently sick...And following day still too ill to travel, the distress caused to her, the total disruption of my husbands birthday weekend and the added expense of an additional night in a hotel, all of which The restaurant, Sheild and KIN Partners are fully aware of, has resulted in absolutely nothing, no response whatsoever. We are absolutely staggered that such an issue has been treated with what appears to be utter contempt and arrogance.....Absolutely appalling. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting
