Additional information: Thought I was getting the flu because of the sore throat and the weakness. Went to urgent care and I had a a negative flu test. It's been a week andy throat feels raw and I barely have a voice. Ate a box of trefoil girl scout cookies and woke up with a sore throat. I felt a burning in my throat. Drank tea and I took some cold medicine. Waited a few days and my throat continued to burn so I went to urgent care. Negative flu test results. I don't feel like I have a cold or flu, I feel like I've been poisoned by these cookies.

Food poisoning wouldn’t just give you a sore throat. It sounds like you have laryngitis.
