Thin Mints Trigger Illness - Girl Scout cookies, Murray Utah

4 years ago reported by user-cxtp9533 business

Girl Scouts of Utah, East 4500 South, Murray, UT, USA

Last night around 10pm I ate about 7 thin mints (I know that’s a lot, but still). Around 2 am I woke up extremely nauseous-I am about 13 weeks pregnant so I thought it was just that. Then starting at 4am I have been puking every hour and it’s almost 10AM.
I also started having diarrhea around 9AM.
I will NEVER touch another thin mint for as long as I live! I know for a fact that is what caused this because I was the only one that ate them and the rest of my family is perfectly okay. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Other

you can't get food poisoning from dry cookies. Or at least it would be really hard to. Probably a virus
