My husband, sister, brother-in-law, and myself vacationed at the Grand Palladium resort in Jamaica from 10/8-10/14/23. 3 out of the 4 of us within a day of coming back home are all sick. We all have terrible diarrhea, chills, and feel achy and tired. It is day 4 of these symptoms and they haven’t let up yet. Trying to stay hydrated as much as we can and let nature run its course……but if it doesn’t let up in the next day or so, I have to go to the doctor and see if anything can be prescribed because I can’t afford to keep missing work (especially right after coming back from a vacation). I have missed 2 days of work so far, and managed 2 days at work because I didn’t eat anything. If you try to eat with this, you’re screwed. My sister is a flight attendant and travels a lot and has been a lot of places and countries in her 20+ years of being a flight attendant. She has never gotten sick like this anywhere.. Between 10/8-10/13 We ate the breakfast buffet every morning, lunch every day at the jerk huts on the beach, and dinners at the resort. We also ate a few appetizers at Ricks Cafe in Negril on the evening of the 12th. And the Wendy’s in the Montego Bay airport the morning of the 14th. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Chills, Fatigue, Body Ache
