Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Punta Cana, 23000 La Altagracia, Dominican Republic

Our family of four stayed here March 12-17. The first day was good, and then we all got diarrhea. We only drank bottled water so we assume it was from the buffet. We tried Pepto but it didn’t do anything. Our 15 year old also ended up vomiting by the last day of our trip, which lasted a couple days. The diarrhea lasted over two weeks and we ended up going to the doctor to get it to stop. We were told it was a bacterial infection and ended up getting prescribed azithromiacin to make it stop, which finally worked. It was a terrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. However, the beach was nice so I guess there’s that. Or if you’re looking for an extremely effective diet plan this is for you. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
