Today around 1:00 PM my husband and I purchased a large popcorn. The popcorn already looked old and not fresh when we received it, but unfortunately we ate some of it. Within a short time after leaving the theater, both of us developed severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, and significant abdominal pain. The symptoms were bad enough that we are now scheduling a visit with our primary care doctor. We wanted to share this experience so the theater can review their food handling and so other guests can be cautious.
