The Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection of the State of Wisconsin announced that Harry Hansen Meat Service in Franksville, WI is issuing a voluntary Class I recall of a variety of flavored beef strips sold at wholesale and at retail stores because the products may be adulterated. No illnesses have been reported as a result of consuming these products.

The recalled products include Hot Beef Strips, Regular Beef Strips, and BBQ Beef Strips. This includes products purchased on or before Oct. 19, 2022, and all packages are vacuum-sealed in various weights carrying a mark of inspection with establishment No. 74.

Consumers, please do not eat the recalled products, throw them away.

If you are experiencing symptoms after eating any of these products it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist seek medical attention.
