Buffet Illness at Resort - Hotel, Nassau New Providence

On Tuesday, 5/2/23 at approximately 7 pm, my friend and I ate dinner at the here at the buffet. We both had different types of food but the only items we had in common was the cocktail shrimp and the filet steaks. At approximately 5 am the following morning, Noel woke up feeling ill complaining that she was going to vomit, and did immediately. A few moments later I also did. We also both experienced severe diarrhea. We both went through 4 cycles of vomiting and having diarrhea. It was very frustrating missing almost two days of our vacation as you can imagine. This was my first vacation in almost 10 years! We were not the only ones who experienced food poisoning as we spoke to several others at the resort who described similar symptoms after eating at the buffet. I had a great time at the resort as it was BEAUTIFUL and the staff was incredible in every way possible. I have contacted the hotel several times and keep getting bounced around it’s frustrating as I will never get that time and money back | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
