Hotel Illness: Kidney Impact - Hotel Riu, Punta Cana La Altagracia Province

This happened May 2018. I got sick 3 days into our trip. Severe diarrhea, nausea.....we realized our hotel sold antibiotics and immodium in the gift shop! But it was after the fact. I left 2 days earlier than planned to get back to US for medical care. I went straight to the hospital and and was kept for 3 days. My kidneys were severely affected . I did not report my illness
