On my 5th night at the resort it was Jamaican cosine night at the self serve buffet restaurant at the resort and there were a lot exotic fruits and I picked and ate Ackee or Aki Jamaican fruit raw ! When the server saw me eating she was shocked and said that should not be eaten raw!!!! It’s poisonous!!!! I got worried went to front desk and eventually spoke with a nurse and he said he will monitor me for next several hours and I might be ok or very ill . I developed such an anxiety and tried to throw up and couldn’t!!! I developed rash on my thighs and lower part of my body and burning sensation and I flew back home to New York. I got treated for rash and took about 5 days to get better. | Symptoms: Nausea, Cramps, Chills
