I bought snow crab from IGA in ST Eustache two weeks ago. I have 5 big packs in stock. I had crab again last night. A strong ammonia smell is released in addition to a bad taste. I understood why I have been sick for a week. Stomach aches, stomachaches, diarrhea, severe fatigue, nausea, chills. I still have symptoms even though this time I only ate a few pieces of crabs before throwing everything away. I have notified the IGA I am meeting with a manager tomorrow. I will bring all the crabs I have left for analysis. They take it very seriously. Thank you | Symptoms: Fatigue, Diarrhea, Chills, Stomach Pain, Nausea, Vomiting

Cooked crab is good for only 2 days... and after 24 hours it already loses its quality because it dries up. Hope you are feeling better.
IGA has a bad practice- they use straight up bleach on chicken and fish. I thought I was going to die when I ingested the bleached chicken. I burned my throat and it took months to recover. I have problems til today. I no longer buy chicken, fresh fish, or cubed meats at IGA. If its frozen by manufacturer ok. Lamb seems ok, livers, pork. But everything else- bleach. BE CAREFUL. Get better. Maybe see a dr and get a record of this incident. I wish I had. Their bleach in meats and fish practice should be illegal.

I had this same issue with chicken. I burned my throat and esophagus with the bleach, tried chicken at several IGA they ALL DO IT. Only buy the roasted full chicken its different. I buy Halal chicken now. Or sealed Prime chicken. I don’t trust grocery packed chicken. Sad days we live in.
