I stayed for 5 days, and one day before leaving I started experiencing symptoms like diarrhea, vomiting, nausea. Upon arriving in Brazil, I also developed fever and headache, as well as muscle pain. I went to the doctor and the diagnosis was: food poisoning from salmonella. I had never felt such strong intestinal cramps.
