Was at the resort from 10/31/23 to 11/8/23. While at the resort, one fell in with severe diarrhea, vomiting, and fever. On our final day, my two year old starting showing the same symptoms. We took him to his pediatrician the day we returned home and he was diagnosed with salmonella poisoning after obtaining a stool sample. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever

Terrible place. Never returning. We got sick as well and they refused to refund us.
Same happened to us in early January- my daughter got violently ill and ended up in hospital with bacterial infection of chest and stomach. Horrible experience to the point I am never coming back to DR.
Same thing happened to me. I was there in 4/13-4/18/24 and on the 17th I got very ill. Same exact symptoms as above after eating fish in the French restaurant. I was dehydrated and was afraid to fly home but I made it. I will never return to the DR.
