Chicken Strips Cause Illness - KFC, Irvington New Jersey

Went to KFC on Lyons Ave in Irvington between 6-7pm on 4/6/24. Should have known from the poor attitude of the girl working the drive thru that I should move on. I ordered three piece chicken strips for my four-year-old granddaughter. She didn’t want them so I ate two of them. One bite into the third, I was like this tastes funny and the texture feels weird. I started feeling nauseous around 1am. At 4:30am, I was awakened with stomach cramps and ran to the bathroom. I first vomited and then the diarrhea came. Went back to bed, only to be awakened two hours later. More vomiting and diarrhea, but worse. I took Imodium. Had one more bout and the diarrhea subsided but the nausea lasted all day. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps
