Campylobacter from KFC Meal - KFC, England

. I ate one chicken drumstick from KFC Lakeside and didn’t like it so threw it away as it didn’t taste great. I didn’t think anything of it until 12 hours later I had severe stomach cramps, diarrhoea and high fever of 40 degrees and over, I was really sick for 7 days and then it’s taken another 7 days to get back to normal. The KFC was the only item I ate differently to my family that week and they were all fine so had to be the KFC. Doctor confirmed I had Campylobacter poisoning from my stool sample.. will never ever eat from KFC again | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Fever, Cramps
