I got mild salmonella about 2 weeks ago from handling raw Birdseye chicken from the King Soopers off of Alameda- this was confirmed medically | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Cramps, Chills, Headache

Don't blame King Soopers. Almost all chicken has bird poop on it. Wash hands and utensils. Cook the chicken.

I washed my hands very thoroughly and cook my chicken all the way through no matter what, I've never had salmonella. All I can think is this happened from an accidental touch to the face or something in the interim of prepping stuff- still important to let others know in case they also got sick by improper cooking/ handling
