Bitter Olive Oil Illness - Costco, Mérida Yucatan

Cooked pasta last night. Used some newly-bought olive oil from here, their Kirkland brand. Went to taste the pasta, which turned out to be EXTREMELY bitter and foul; it was inedible. After process of elimination, I found that it was the olive oil which was putrid. I have only experience mild gastric discomfort, but my Mother (who also tasted the pasta) has been violently ill. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Other, Gas
