From resort. Our drinks were tampered with we believe. Severe vomiting and convulsions.In Puerto Plata Dominican Republic at Lifestyles Resort, A few of has had a drink the bartender made which he retrieved the jug of mystery stuff under the cabinet. He called it mamajuana the next we knew several hours had gone by and we didn't know how we got there to the other resort pool, My husband became very ill after just a few drinks. He is a large guy and can hold liquor but not this kind. My husband had to go to ER on resort and tgey told him he was just drunk. We knew that was not the case. They sent us away., My husband became ill with severe vomiting and chest pains and complaints of not being able to breathe. He started convulsing and vomiting more. It has been 5 days since we got back home to US and he still has severe diarrhea and chest pains., We think the resort food was not prepared properly for food safety which could have also been a contributor to his illness. I was also sick with diarrhea symptoms after arriving home. 2 other friends of ours were also ill with same symtpms., Our friends were also in our villa. They did not have much alcohol until last day and tgey had a few drinks on the beach and became severely ill the rest of the day and night. | Symptoms: Vomiting, Nausea, Diarrhea, Fever, Chest Pain
