Nacpan Beach Food Poisoning - Mad Monkey Hostel Nacpan Beach, El Nido MIMAROPA

7 years ago reported by user-rnyxb492 business

Mad Monkey Hostel Nacpan Beach, Barangay Bucana, El Nido, Palawan, Philippines

El Nido, 5313 MIMAROPA, Philippines

I ate dinner at the mad monkey on Nacpan Beach on 20/2/18 with 3 other people. I had a different meal to every one else and felt fine before I ate. Shortly after I ate I started to get strange stomach cramps before committing through the night and the following day. I was unable to eat or hold any food down and I had really bad pains in my abdomen area. I’m certain it was food poisoning caused by what I ate as I hadn’t eaten anything else that day and started to feel the effects not long after eating. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps, Stomach Pain

It was more likely to the water you had drunk during the day, it would be rare for it to be real food poisoning and be a single case, I suppose you could have been unlucky and received a bad prawn or seafood item but unlikely. On Palawan its almost always down to drinking tap or well water which is why it's important for you to take your own or only drink bottled water.
