23000 Carretera El Macao - Arena Gorda, Punta Cana, 23000 La Altagracia, Dominican Republic
My family and I visited this Resort from July 27 - August 1, 2022. About 3 days into our vacation, 5 of 10 of us began exhibiting Gl issues lasting the duration of our stay. Most of us experienced a combination of symptoms such abdominal cramping, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headaches, chills, and body aches. Our 9-year old nephew had to be seen by their in-house MD, which cost us 500 USD with only temporary relief. We spoke with theDirector of Public Relations at the resort and her response was that we would have to
provide proof that the illnesses were caused
by ingesting the food and water at the
resort. We explained that we had not left the resort, so there was no other way we could’ve gotten sick elsewhere. She explained that because we were only a small sample of people who reported feeling sick, there was no need for her to report it to the "authorities". Later, we learned that several other guests at the resort had fallen ill. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Headache, Chills, Body Ache, Cramps, Stomach Pain

It took almost a month and we have recovered in some symptoms but not all. Were you at Majestic Mirage. Seems this is a real problem there we have discovered since returning. Sorry for your experience ---
Hello, we were in the Dominican around the same time as you. Have all your family members recovered from their symptoms?
