First of all, I tried my VERY best not to drink the water and actually brought my own Ozarka bottled water from Texas. It was my second day in Punta Cana. After my day long excursion, I was offered a pineapple drink. They placed ice in it and I initially wondered if water used to make ice was filtered, bottled or neither. After my drink, I immediately got diarrhea but I didn't eat much so not much came out. Later, I walked to the bus stop and rode the bus and I immediately got super sick. My initial thought was that I was sea sick but this was my second excursion and I didn’t get sick from the other buses, boats etc. I was on the bus cramping with stomach pains, I felt nausea and was sweating. I just felt something come over me that I thought, maybe I got drugged. I made the bus stop and pull over so I can throw up from bus window. Then, I got into a bigger bus and still felt SO SICK. I was curled up on the bus seat waiting to get to my destination in pain and with shivers. When we got to the destination, I got off bus barley able to walk and was VERY dizzy and disoriented. I was out of it and didn't even want to talk, I even felt breathless. My heart was beating fast and I thought I must have been drugged. I felt like s**t and people were reaching out to me to ask if I was okay because I looked like s**t too. They offered to call me an ambulance. I initially said yes but then called the people I was staying with that happen to be a nurse and she suggested I get to her first and she’ll take me to hospital if needed. I got to her, she gave me some meds and bottled water and I fell asleep. I went to the doctor the next day and told doctor what happened and they did blood work. I was okay. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Dizziness, Sweating, Stomach Pain, Cramps
