I had dinner here on 28.04.2022 around 12:30 p.m., the front door was locked, which I found strange as I drove through the driveway. There was next to nothing going on. I vomited several times, developed diarrhea around midnight and kept doing it this way for 5 days. I hadn't eaten anything that day except that stuff. It slowly stopped on the 6th and 7th day, I suspect Salmonella poisoning. Now I'm watching a report on the TV about poor hygiene and I know I'm never going here again. The FSIS is issuing a public health alert because A & S Produce Inc., a Vernon, Calif. establishment conducting business as Greenland Food Company, produced and distributed fully cooked, frozen swai fried fish cutlet products without the benefit of federal inspection. A recall was not requested because... See More the products are no longer available for purchase. These products were sold at retail locations in California and through online sales. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
The recalled product is:
- 1-lb. vacuum-packed packages containing “Fried Fish Cutlet.” They were produced from July 2022 to September 2022 and have a shelf life of two years. They do not bear the establishment number or a USDA mark of inspection.
FSIS discovered the problem when it was conducting surveillance at an online retailer and found FSIS-regulated products without a USDA mark of inspection.
FSIS is concerned that some products may be in consumers’ freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
If you are experiencing symptoms after eating the affected product it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist seek medical attention.
