I did not eat mine right away but my 7 year old ate half the bag and mentioned they tasted weird. I smelled the bag and... According to the news, the... See More Royal Caribbean’s Brilliance of the Seas informed their cruise guests through a letter that their crew was taking appropriate steps to mitigate the problem. Also, they mentioned that ship officials had no reason to believe the illnesses would have any impact on the remainder of the cruise. It advised guests about best practices to avoid becoming ill, and suggested washing hands often, and using the free hand-sanitizing gels available throughout the ship, particularly after a restroom break and before eating.
Norovirus is very contagious and is easily transmitted from person to person most through the oral/fecal route. Considering that hand sanitizer does NOT work against this virus, it is important to wash your hands with soap frequently. Use bleach to clean and disinfect surfaces.
