Fish Sandwich Illness Strikes - McDonald's, Hattiesburg Mississippi

8 years ago reported by user-kwfj9474 business

McDonald's, Hattiesburg, MS, United States

6442 U.S. 98, Hattiesburg, 39402 Mississippi, United States

On 10/17/17 at around 12pm I ordered myself a filet o fish sandwich from the McDonald's drive thru located on hwy 98/hwy 11 near Oak Grove. Around 30 minutes after I finished the sandwich, (which was the only food I ate all day yesterday) very bad nausea began. From 12:30pm - now I have thrown up 6 times, I have had stomach cramps, diarrhea, a low grade fever, & nonstop nausea. I had to call someone to come help me with my toddler yesterday afternoon because I couldn't leave the bathroom for hours. I've had food poisoning before years ago and there's no doubt in my mind that this illness was a result of food poisoning. Some part of my sandwich must have gotten cross contaminated or grown bacteria from not being kept at the right temperatures. I'm not sure exactly but I know this is food poisoning and I don't want this happening to anyone else. If this happened to a small child like my own, the dehydration could kill them. This is very serious and I won't stop until something is done about it. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Dehydration, Cramps
