Nuggets Cause Salmonella Poisoning - McDonald's, Los Angeles California

8 years ago reported by user-cxhkw297 business

McDonald's, Los Angeles, California, United States

So I was just coming from school with my father and we go to McDonald’s and I order the McNuggets because those where always my favorite meal to eat when I go there, while I’m devouring my nuggets I taste a very appalling taste in my mouth but I don’t think much about it. After I finished my nuggest I had loose bowels for about an hour. When I get home I instantaneously didn’t feel well but I thought it might be nausea from the bumpy car ride. It turns out I missed one whole week of school because of those ordeal nuggets. My mother took me to see a specialist and it turns out I had a bad case of salmonella poisoning. I was put on I.V and left at the hospital for about 2-4 days. The doctor told me it was either someone didn’t wash their hands well after using the washroom or the nuggets were not heated enough. I will never forget that day in my life and I would never ever wish that apon my worst enemy. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting
