Nick's Family Restaurant, Washington Avenue, San Leandro, CA, United States

14660 Washington Avenue, San Leandro, 94578 California, United States

I went to a restaurant in San Leandro California name nick's family restaurant San leandro on 14660 Washington Ave, San Leandro, CA 9457 and experienced the worst food poisoning i have ever had. Which resulted in a emergency room visit and an intravenous course of antibiotics. I had the worst experience but all of the company i had attend the restaurant with me also fell sick. It was easy to see that the cooks in the back were not handling the food in a sanitary manor. Initially the meat i ordered came cold but after i sent it back and requested the meat to be cooked longer i believe they had the meat sitting out for a great deal of time before they even decided to use it. I am begging that someone please attend this facility to check the handling of their meat and other consumed products before an a more seriour event than mine occur. I know this place operated 24 hours and that different a class of people attend at different time but this neglect put me in the hospital and if i was and elder person i would be dead. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Vomiting

The best thing for you to do is to go to your local health officials and file a complaint. If you were not the only one getting sick, that is an outbreak and they will defiantly look into it. Another choice is to complain to FDA or FDA's FSIS (Food Safety Inspection Service).
