Rancid Chicharrones Incident - Northgate Market, Long Beach California

3 years ago reported by user-yzbqm752 business

Northgate Market, East 10th Street, Long Beach, CA, USA

2038 East 10th Street, Long Beach, 90813 California, United States

Bought a bag of chicherones and these wrecked my insides. Luckily, I only had a few as a snack and then three hours later was praying to the porcelain goddess. The next day I opened the bag to smell the product and it was rancid. Did these smell bad when I tried them- not exactly as they had a salty spice on them that masked the smell of sour food. They do a great job at all the stores and this can happen with any pork product. Five days later and 15 pounds lighter, lessened learned. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
