Stew Causes Severe Illness - Occidental Caribe, Punta Cana La Altagracia

Sunday Feb 1 2026. 9pm I ate at the Domican Food Specialty restaurant and ate the stew. After ruling out other foods and the timing I am certain the stew was the cause of severe food poisoning. The following morning at 5am I had severe diarrhea, vomiting stomach cramps aches etc. I was bed ridden the entire day at the resort. As I am writing this on Feb 4, although I have improved I am still suffering cramps and diarrhea. To note, I am always careful with food selection and drinking only bottled water. I unfortunately did not follow my own rules and ate the stew. Be aware of this place. I have no idea if other that night had same issue? | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills
