Seafood Platter Sickness - Ocean Basket Camps Bay, Cape Town Western Cape

7 years ago reported by user-nzgpr436 business

Ocean Basket Camps Bay, Victoria Road, Camps Bay, Cape Town, South Africa

51 Victoria Road, Cape Town, 8040 Western Cape, South Africa

We had lunch around 1pm and ordered the seafood platter and a beer. Within two hours my stomach was screaming in pain, throbbing and felt so uncomfortable. We went back to the hotel for the rest of the afternoon throwing up what I had eaten. It ruined the rest of our day and evening plans. It was a horrible experience. Even when I was just a little better (late evening) to walk we went to the pharmacy a block away from our hotel as I wanted to stop my symptoms! Its now 12pm on the same day I ate the platter and I have been woken up by the stomach pain to go to the washroom. I hope this goes away soon and doesn't ruin the rest of our stay here!!! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain
