Lasagna Sickens Nine - Olive Garden, Thornton Colorado

3 years ago reported by user-dghc6299 business

Olive Garden Italian Restaurant, East 120th Avenue, Thornton, CO, USA

1151 East 120th Avenue, Thornton, 80233 Colorado, United States

We had a 50th birthday/ Easter celebration on April 17th with catered Olive Garden. One of the dishes was their large family lasagna. Of the 21 family members, 9 ate the lasagna and 12 did not. Of the 9 everyone got violently sick started that evening and many of them lasted for 4-5 days. After the event, many thought the lasagna tasted ‘weird’. Of the 12 that did not eat the lasagna, all of them were fine and never experienced any issues. We isolated it down to the lasagna. When reaching out to management, they wanted us to fill out forms including names, addresses, phone numbers, and social security information and medical information which we would not do. We are so lucky that my 92year old mom who is recovering from a fall and 3 broken ribs did not eat any of the lasagna otherwise we would be attending a funeral right now. Overall, we went their 1-2 times a month and will never eat at any Olive Garden every again. Beware! | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
