Had my regular morning oatmeal prior to driving from Lahaina to Paia. On reaching Paia I bought a mango gelato prior to setting out on the road to Hana. Approximately 40 minutes later I pulled over off the road as I was nauseous, had stomach gripes, felt hot, was sweating and dizzy. The dizziness got worse and I thought i was going to pass out. As I opened the car door to get out I started wretching and vomitting nothing but yellow liquid. I sat back in the car with my husband and waited for the symptoms to die down, which they did, so that we could carry on our journey. I only got as far as Twin Falls before I had more fever, nausea, but now with diarrhea. I had to call off the whole journey and decided to return to my hotel. I did not eat anything else for the remainder of the day and just drank water. The nausea and diarrhea died down the next morning. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Vomiting, Dizziness, Sweating
