Went with some friends and w/in 2 hours I had crapped my pants (while at work - now that's fun!).
This same experience has happened to my son twice. Food tastes good, but it must have some kind of preservative in it that a sensitive stomach can't handle. Next time, I'm saying I ain't hungry . | Symptoms: Diarrhea

She has a healthy appetite and started feeling nauseated and refused to finish it. She complained of stomach pain the entire way home. Once home she cried in bed, curled up, and complained of stomach gurgles. She started passing gas (and was embarrassed in front of the company staying with us) we all agreed that after all the flatulence she would probably feel better. We all go to sleep (she had fresh clean sheets and a new comforter on account of her sharing a bed) I am woken up later being told that she can't stop throwing up. The throwing wouldn't stop. Or it would stop and id change her sheets thinking that she got it all out but then would ruin THOSE sheets! See More into it, however because I filled it up I ran to the toilet. And I mean I ran. I sit on the floor, hovering over the toilet. As I start throwing up I lose control of my bowels and liquid shit starts streaming down my leg onto the bath mat. I couldn’t switch to have my bottom be on the toilet because I had nothing to throw up in. So, I had to finish throwing up in the toilet while diarrhea begins piling up on my bath mat. I eventually shower, throw out the mat, and sanitize everything. I ended up throwing up a couple more times throughout the night, but managed to find something to throw up in while I sat on the toilet. Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy people infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In rare instances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis, and arthritis.
Due to the 11/8/2023 recall of fresh, whole cantaloupes by Sophia Foods, LLC (DBA Trufresh) of Nogales, AZ, in response to a notification by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency of a potential contamination with Salmonella, Vinyard Fruit and Vegetable Company is issuing this recall.
