I bought a chocolate shake early in the morning from Whataburger, located at 8420 W 135th St, Overland Park, KS 66223. This was before my shift, so I clock in and an hour passes and I start to feel chills and my stomach starts to turn. I thought it was something small until I had to use the restroom and the cramps and aches became more severe as I tried to go on about my day. I started to feel nauseous at this point and needed to go home for the day. The way back home was pretty sufferable as my headaches and body aches increased. As soon as I got home, I felt a fever coming on and my body temperature started to rise abnormally. That was the first day. Today's my third day with this going on and the fever and aches have died down, but my stomach still seems to hate me. I've had constant diarrhea at least once every hour. So, I went to the emergency room and they determined I had Enteritis, which is basically an inflammation of a small intestine that is caused by viral or bacterial infections. And that shake was the only thing I had that day. I'm certain that's what caused it. I've had that same drink many times, I believe this time the machine wasn't cleaned, so bacteria must've grown in it. They're a 24-hour franchise, so I'm not sure how often they even clean the machine. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Body Ache
