Severe Dehydration Post-Burrito - Pancheros, Fort Dodge Iowa

9 years ago reported by user-dcyp3649 business

Pancheros, Fort Dodge, Iowa

3022 5th Avenue South, Fort Dodge, 50501 Iowa, United States

Monday March 14 around 3pm we ate at Pancheros in Fort Dodge Iowa that is located near the Crossroads Mall. I ordered a chicken burrito and it stayed with me for the car ride home, which was about 3 hrs and that's when it all went downhill. Once home I began violently vomitting and severe diarrhea. This continued from Monday night until Friday morning. Not knowing what was wrong with me and thinking I had the flu I didn't go to doctor until then. Thank god I did, by the time I made it to the ER they told me it was the most severe case of dehydration they have seen in quite some time. I took 2 bags of fluid, multiple shots and some medication to take home and here it is Sunday and I'm still not 100% but I am feeling a little better each day. I haven't kicked it completely yet but hope to real soon. I am waiting for blood results by Tuesday and we will know for sure but it was preliminarily believed to be E Coli. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Vomiting, Dehydration
