“Our child poisoned his stomach with bacteria in Mardan Bistro (one of restaurants in hotel). He get bacteria that was in food due to improper preparation and storage of food. We are sure that he get bacteria in spaghetti bolognese on last day during lunch. On last night he get... temperature and vormit and finish upon arrival at the hospital in Zagreb. In hospital he get diagnosed with gastric poisoning with bacteria. He was five days in hospital with infusion and antibiotic. We have all medical documentation from doctors that confirms the above.
During our holiday he eat only and only in their restaurants.
“I ate an enchilada verde for lunch. It was the only thing I had eaten all day other than my normal coffee and water. About 2 hours later I became violently ill, throwing up, so weak, chills, body aches, neck ache, what feels like a UTI and tender kidneys. It’s... insane. I’m hoping I get better overnight. ”
“My family of 5 all went there then the next day felt sick and nauseous from the food. We had cheese pizza and the salad bar. From salad bar we had salad, cottage cheese, hard boiled eggs, dried cranberries, broccoli, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes. My kids stared off with a high... fever then throwing up, decreased appetite, headache, sneezing and a severe cough. Then me and my husband caught it after them almost immediately. We've been sick for over a week since going there. ”
“My husband and I shared a green smoothie on a Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, I had a rumbly stomach and then diarrhea for hours. The next morning, my husband woke up with the same thing, plus crawly skin, achiness and the chills. (This is how food poisoning always affects him.)... Neither of us have vomited, but it's Tuesday, and we both still have stomach pain and fatigue. No one else around is or had been ill, and the smoothie is the only thing we had all weekend that was different than everyone else in the family. I'm always cautious about consuming smoothies out, just because there is a risk the produce and the equipment maybe aren't as carefully washed as they are when I make them at home. Our delayed response makes sense to us, since it takes a while for some pathogens to multiply and make themselves known in the body. This was our first time eating (drinking) here and it'll likely be our last, unfortunately. ”
“Pumpkin pie The pumpkin pie was a little frozen. I asked them to heat it up. When it came back there was no whip cream on it. So I asked him to add some. They quite possibly or angry at me for sending it back twice so I think they... spiked it with something. ”
“On Monday January 27th 2020 I stopped by I purchased. & ate chicken tenders and potato wedges at about 7:30 p.m. at about 9:30 p.m. I was actually speaking to a manager at an establishment about a waitress position in the midst of talking I begin to feel light-headed dizzy... very nauseous hot flashes and I suddenly passed out I fell into the manager and fell to the floor and begin to vomit uncontrollably and begin to have diarrhea uncontrollably. & rushed to the hospital. I've been contacting the health department to try to get someone out to investigate and also trying to find out where I can find out if there are other cases at this location where other people have been sick ”
