Food Safety Report: Popeye's, 4107 Edison Ave, Chino, CA 91710, United States.

Regulatory Report

4107 Edison Avenue, Chino, 91710 California, United States

Closure Date: 01-13-2022

Rodent infestation. The Popeyes and a gas station convenience store it shares a building with had been shut down Dec. 9-13 because of an ongoing rodent infestation. An inspector returned a month later for a follow-up and was told that pest control had caught about three rats a few days after Dec. 13, and the most recent pest control service had found rodent droppings in the ceilings. The inspector found droppings in the soda syrup area and on a box of seasoning in the kitchen of Popeyes, plus a few in cabinets of the convenience store. The Popeyes was shut down but the convenience store wasn’t; however, both were told to seal gaps where rodents could be getting in.
