Recently, my mom and I decided to try the barbecue hot wings from Popeyes, anticipating a delicious meal. Unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable. About an hour after eating the wings, my mom began suffering from diarrhea and vomiting. Soon after, I also started feeling unwell and experienced similar symptoms. For the past three days, we have been struggling to retain any food, leaving us feeling weak and unwell. This experience has been distressing and disappointing, especially given Popeyes’ reputation for flavorful and enjoyable meals. We suspect that the illness might be related to the food we consumed, as our symptoms started shortly after eating the hot wings.
We hoped this was an isolated incident and not indicative of broader issues at Popeyes but there are other people reporting this same issue online | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
