I think it was the red beans and rice that got me food poisoning. First off they weren’t even busy enough for me and others to get our food that late in the drive thru line. But, I got the two can dine. My boyfriend has jambalaya and I had red beans and rice. We both had chicken and biscuits with our orders. I was the only one to get sick (the red beans and rice) and I was completely fine before I ate. Not even 30 minutes later I’m on the toilet with a trash can in my face. It came out of both ends at the same time. This is my first time with food poisoning. It kept coming and coming! I sat there maybe 5-10 minutes. Then went to my bedroom to rest. I got up 5 minutes later and put my face in the toilet to throw up so more. Throughout the day I had to keep getting up to RUN to the bathroom because it kept wanting to come out the back end. I was unbelievably dehydrated and weak after this ordeal. I felt sick for two days. On the third day I tried to continue on like normal until I felt weak again like I needed to pass out. I will NEVER in my life eat there again. Not just that location, Popeyes is done/canceled for good. I try to make sure my friends and family never go. I wouldn’t even wish that experience on my worse enemy. It was awful! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Dehydration, Weakness
