I bought the pre-cut water melon sticks. They looked fresh. They were within the best by date. I ate 2 sticks; about a cup of watermelon. About 20 minutes later, bad nausea, then intestinal cramping, followed by diarrhea and vomiting. About 30 minutes later, I felt like it had passed. Things would likely have ended there, all things being normal. However, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and had just had my infusion two days earlier; a very vulnerable time for my immune system. The food poisoning sent my wonky immune system into overdrive resulting in a bad flare; predominantly centered in my left ankle. A lot of pain even when sedentary. Started medication today to try to get the food poisoning RA flare under control. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps
