Additional information: I am Currently in the hospital. Diagnosed with salmonella and Salmonella induced pancolitis through G.I. PCR testing. Became sick on Wednesday, June 11th. I am now in the hospital. I have had a 101 fever, severe diarrhea, stomach cramps, stomach pain, bodyaches, headache, and dehydration and pancolitis. I was diagnosed with salmonella through GI PCR testing. Just wanted to make a report.. Cucumbers purchased at Publix in Dahlonega, Georgia
Update July 3rd, 2025: I've been sick since June 11th. I had a round of IV antibiotics. A round of oral antibiotics. Headache and diarrhea never stopped. Stomach pains and body aches stopped for a while. Tuesday, July 1, fever of 101 returned with body aches, severe stomach pains, bad diarrhea. I returned to the epidemiologist. He believes it is a continuation of the salmonella and placed me back on oral antibiotics. I had bloodwork reacher on, and I sent a stool specimen in to be tested. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Dehydration, Body Ache
