Doctors are not sure Just my father. He was complaining his stomach was hurting. He was about to board the plane back to the US and he started collapsing in and out of consciousness. He was not allowed to board the plane. The taxi driver took them to St. Luke's (the absolute worst hospital). They would not do anything to help him until my mom paid them $8K US dollars. And the amount to keep him there would have been an entire retirement amount if my mom had not had him transferred to another hospital. She had to pay over $38,ooo US dollars to have him cared for and transported via jetliner to the United States to the VA hospital. He is there now in a coma. The doctors cannot figure out what's wrong with him. They are linking it to possible food poisoning. He is currently unresponsive and has been in the US hospital for about 3 days now.

09/13 Update: You all aee very lucky to be alive. My husband almost did not make it, he had septic shock and was intubated and with respirtor at St Lukes hospital in Cabos San Lucas. they threw us out of the hospital when they asked us to pay $50,000 american cash dollars and we did not have this money. They did take $4000 cash from my debit card but they got upset when i would not ask friends or relatives for their debit or credit cards. they wheeled my husband off in an ambulance to county hospital which was covid infested, there was no capacity and the poor people were all waiting outside this horrible county hospital. Had dirt road, and all the poor people were waiting outside to see if their love ones would survive or die when their names were called. My husband did not have covid and niether did i so that hopital was not an option. I had registered with the american embassy before we departed to our nightmare vacation , so when i need advice, i called them and told them i had a medical emergency, my husband was dying. The american embassy sent me an advocate just in the nick of time, when outside the county hospital is asking me , what do i do with this body? the advocate send us ti Centro medico in Cabos where the ambulance took my husband. meanwhile we are stranded in front of the county hospital without knowing anybody or even having a taxi or uber phone number to call. We finally got a ride to St Lukes whre we waited outside for more than an hour , we were at their mercy, waiting for someone to call a taxi or uber. finally made it to other hospital where again, they wanted anothr $4000 american dollars before they would start helping him, i found a card in my hospitals wallet and i did mot know if it had funds or not, but it went thru, thank god! so they were taking care of him and i stayed at the hospital in case they needed something or if he died. Next day, another $4000 dollars, also had to pay ambulance a$400.00 american dollars and we had to get my husband out immediatrly to the hospital in the us before he died. air ambulan ce was $21,320.00 american dollars. I called my bank to borrow money to fly us out of mexico. Whenw e were gettng ready to leavr centro medical they wanted anothr $4750.00. Told them i did not have anymore money but said they would delay plane if not pay. I had no choice, had $1000 left in a credit card, gave them a check for another $1000 and borrowed another $1000 from a friend in the us.

You all be ware of St. Lukes hopital , centro medico in cabos san lucas. american embassy has radar on these hospitals.

Total cost in american dollars $38,000 cash otherwise my husband would've died. made it to va hospital in el paso just in time but doctors said he was almost dead when he arrived. if i had not gotten this money to get us home rest assured, my husband would've died.  | Symptoms: Stomach Pain, Other
