These illnesses in the Dominican republic are not something new. In 2010, my girlfriend and I flew for a vacation. I was very careful with the foods I eat and what I drink. Despite my best effort’s, I became very sick with diarrhea, severe cramps, and vomiting for three days. My girlfriend and I really thought I was going to die.
