Quorn Mycoprotein Allergy Alert - Mold, Monterey Park California

3 years ago reported by user-fbdd1441

Quorn Meatless Patties, Monterey Park, California, USA

Monterey Park, California, United States

After eating Quorn products, I became sick and spent hours vomiting - every five minutes or so. This happened on more than one occasion, unfortunately it took me a while to link it to Quorn, but it was the common thing in all cases. I almost never vomit otherwise, have no other food allergies. The mold they use as a protein causes this reaction in thousands of people, it should be listed as an allergen.

This has happened to me after eating Quorn products from different stores in different cities over long periods of time. It's not a problem with a specific store or batch, it's a problem with Quorn products. They contain mycoprotein, a type of mold that is toxic to thousands of people. | Symptoms: Vomiting
